The 3 Laws of Attraction

What are the three laws of attraction and how do they become intertwined in our lives in a way that makes such a huge difference to everything we experience?

the 3 laws of attraction

There are actually three Laws of Attraction that can be defined in terms that can be understood.

A law works regardless of whether you believe it or not. For example, the law that gravity does not depend on your beliefs.

The Laws of Attraction, like gravity and other laws of physics don't require that you believe they exist for them to work. You can stay skeptical if you want and it doesn't matter.

If you just observe how things happen, you will be amazed at the results you get when you apply the Laws of Attraction in your life.

These are the 3 Laws of Attraction:

  1. Like attracts like
  2. Nature hates a vacuum
  3. The present is always perfect

These three laws contain a variety of principles that are extrapolated from the original law. For example, like attracts like.

These principles and laws can be applied to your life in a few simple steps. This will allow you to attract the people, opportunities, and things you want. It sounds magical, but it's actually quite simple.

The Laws of Attraction actually have more to do with physics than most people realize.

Law 1: Like Attracts Like

like attracts likePeople believe that opposites attract. While it is true that opposites attract, magnets can attract the opposite polarity. However, more often than not, like attracts like.

We are more likely, for example, to have tall friends if our height is high. People with similar socioeconomic backgrounds and vocabulary levels are more likely to be married.

It really means that our thoughts attract our outcomes. This is because we are what we think and believe. The results that we get in life are a result of our actions.

Negative Thinking

Negative and limited thinking can lead to inaction, or even counterproductive actions, which leads to negative results.

You are unlikely to take the action necessary to improve your financial situation if you hold the negative belief that "Money is evil".

Why would you want to do evil? If you happen to attract wealth easily, you'll likely waste it.

Be Positive

To attract wealth, prosperity and success, the first step is to get rid of all negative beliefs.

Next, replace negative beliefs with positive ones and then take action to make the new positive belief real. You might, for example, open a savings account and each week deposit $100.

be positiveWhile saying that you are "intuitively growing my wealth", It is important to remember that money can only be used to make the world a better place.

A hammer can be used to build a house, or to whack someone's head. Don't blame the tool.

I have previously mentioned a critical corollary: the Present is Always Perfect (and that you can also perfect it).

It is a good idea to get rid of anything that makes you look unattractive if you want to be more attractive. This is evident at a superficial level: if you have bad breath, a cold sore or are unable to speak clearly, nobody will want you to kiss them.

Don't be Needy

It also works at a deeper level. You will appear needy if you don't meet your emotional needs. All of us sense our neediness and instinctively run from it.

"If you don't need it, you are more likely to attract it."

Inherently repellent is neediness of any kind. This is a result of the Law of Attraction. A lack of something will attract more of it. Just like negative thoughts attract more negative ones, this vicious circle can be hard to break.

Lack Attracts Lack

This is why more debt is attracted to it, while savings is more attractive. It is also easier to find a job if you are already employed, as you don't necessarily need the job.

It is surprising that so few people are able to identify their top four emotional and personal needs. This is despite the fact that it is crucial for attraction. Here is a quiz that I made to help you identify your needs in just twenty minutes.

All three Laws of Attraction work together to satisfy your emotional and personal needs.

Law 2: Nature Hates a Vacuum

The laws of thermodynamics are the basis of the second Law of Attraction.

That's because atoms bounce around constantly and instantly fill empty spaces, it is impossible to create empty spaces.

Practically, this is how it works. You empty your junk drawer only to find it full of junk a few weeks later.

It is true that tidying up is life-changing. We can attract more things by making space in our lives and knowing this can help you clear clutter.

Law 3: The Present is Always Perfect

Sometimes, it seems like things aren't always perfect. Let's say, for example that you can't stand your boss or your job.

It can be difficult to see the good and bad in things. It's difficult to know what the future holds.

This is why I love The Parable of the Chinese Farmer (see below). To activate the third Law of Attraction, you must make your reality as perfect as possible.

A Perfect Reality

Imagine that you hate your job, and are afraid to go to work every day, effectively blocking your attractive force.

Instead of complaining about your boss and work, visualize that you won't be able leave your job. This will force you to learn it as well as make it better.

You might have to learn how to deal with a boss or colleague who is difficult or you may not want to do the job. You can also volunteer to do more interesting work while still maintaining your pace.

When you have it all figured out, you will find the perfect job. Like attracts like, remember!

Perfect Attracts Perfect

Perfect the job you have already if you want to get the perfect job.

You shouldn't send your resume to head-hunters. While you may be required to go out looking for work, it is important that you also improve your current situation.

A happy candidate will be more appealing to potential employers and more likely to be promoted within the company. Instead of complaining to friends and colleagues about your job, you should talk about the job that you want, the one that you are interested in.

This is an example of how the Laws of Attraction can be applied in your life.

Footnote: The Parable of the Chinese Farmer

A farmer in ancient China owned a horse. His neighbors said how lucky he was to have such a fine horse to pull his plow through the fields. The farmer said, "Maybe yes, maybe no."

One day the horse ran away. His neighbors said it was such bad luck. The farmer said, "Maybe yes, maybe no."

Days later the horse returned to the farm along with seven wild horses. His neighbors said how lucky he was. The farmer said, "Maybe yes, maybe no."

A few weeks later the farmer's son was training the new wild horses and fell off and broke his leg. The neighbors said what bad luck it was. The farmer replied, "Maybe yes, maybe no."

The next week the army came around taking all the able-bodied young men from the village to fight in the war. The farmer's son with the broken leg was left behind. The neighbors, who had lost their sons to the army, said how lucky the farmer was to have his son. The farmer replied, "Maybe yes, maybe no."

...and so it goes on.
